Yes. It will also have a spam
filter. These are never 100% and it is vital your school
has an internet safety policy. |

is it just an empty shell.
e-Folio is rich in resources. At
the last count there were 2743 resource packs
(properties) that can be allocated to groups of pupils. |
Will it provide a way of communicating with
Governors?
Yes. Their can have their own
pages and properties such as calendars and file storage
areas. |

Will it provide an email account for every
pupil?
Yes. |
Will pupils be able to receive emails from
ANYONE?
You can set e-Folio so that your
pupils are restricted to emailing with:
1) Pupils in your school only
2) Pupils in other Essex schools using e-Folio accounts
3) Anyone
You choose your own settings. |
Will
it help us with the personalised learning agenda by
enabling us to allocate curriculum resources to in
pupils and classes?
Yes. You can design your own
resources (called properties) and allocate them to
groups of pupils. |
