Essex Schools, Children and Families Service working with Support Companies Partnership The aim is to provide Primary schools, Special schools and Nurseries with the tools needed to ensure a strategic technical support system for their curriculum network installation, maintenance and development.   The benefits of using this partnership framework include:   support when upgrading your curriculum network server and workstations   advice when upgrading your network cabling and wireless provision   recommendations when purchasing ICT peripherals and software   help in choosing an effective support company with data based on the experiences of other schools in Essex.   allowing schools to star rate their company support to give more informed choice       instill a prevention rather than cure culture in management and support   encourage effective use of staff expertice and links to CPD provision   Please note the need to comply with tendering and finance regulations and to have approval from governors before making major ICT purchases.
