Technical Support is the function responsible for ensuring the continued operation of ICT equipment
and services. Technical Support is a necessity in any organisation that is dependent upon its ICT.
It is not always easy to justify but not having it is a risk.
In this section we make the case for implementing technical support and put to you some ideas
and suggestions that may help to justify it is a dedicated function in schools where it may be seen
as an unaffordable luxury.
