Design is the processes of selecting what ICT is needed to support learning,
teaching and managing within the school. |
|
|
|
|
|
Those involved in design will need to: |
|
|
|
|
|
- Work with the ICT Owner to forward the ICT vision and development plan
|
|
|
- Seek advice as to the range of appropriate solutions
available.
|
|
|
- Consider using the Infrastructure specification provided by
becta
|
|
|
- Ensure that the intended users have been involved in selecting the solution
(including hardware and software).
|
|
|
- Ensure that new solutions are compatible with existing
resources.
|
|
|
- Allow time to update diagrams and lists
|
|
|
- Carry out risk assessments
|
|
|
